By creating an account or using artiFACT ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
artiFACT is a collectibles analysis platform. You can upload photos of collectible items — including postcards, sports cards, dolls, vinyl records, concert and movie posters, stock certificates, currency notes, comic books, and die-cast cars — and receive identification, historical context, and estimated value information.
The Service is provided on a Free tier (with usage limits) and a Pro subscription tier. Current features, limits, and prices are described on the Pricing page within the app.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($5.00/month) or annually ($40.00/year). All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in USD and do not include any applicable taxes.
Cancellation. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your Profile page. Upon cancellation, your Pro access continues through the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
Refunds. We offer refunds within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase if you have not substantially used the Pro features. To request a refund, contact us at customer_service@postarc.net. Renewal charges are non-refundable.
Free tier limits. Free accounts include a limited number of analyses per month and a capped collection size; the current limits are shown on the app's Pricing page. Monthly upload counts reset on the 1st of each calendar month. Deleting items frees collection slots but does not reset the monthly upload count.
You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant artiFACT a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content for the purpose of providing the Service.
You may not upload content that is illegal, infringes third-party intellectual property rights, or violates any applicable law. You are solely responsible for the content you upload.
Identification results, historical information, and estimated values provided by artiFACT are generated automatically and are for informational purposes only. They are not professional appraisals, certifications, or investment advice.
artiFACT makes no warranty that analysis results are accurate, complete, or current. Estimated values are based on comparable items currently listed for sale and should not be relied upon for financial decisions. We recommend consulting a professional appraiser for high-value items.

The artiFACT name, logo, application design, and all software are the intellectual property of artiFACT. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, artiFACT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at customer_service@postarc.net.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
