Tichnor Brothers of Boston were one of America's most prolific linen and gloss postcard publishers from the 1930s–1960s, known for their vivid color process. The Academy of American Poets 25th Year machine cancel (1934–1959) visible on this card is an uncommon slogan cancel that adds minor philatelic interest.
