The Great Northern Hotel at Bundoran, Co. Donegal was a landmark Victorian seaside resort owned by the Great Northern Railway (Ireland) and was a favourite holiday destination from the 1890s through to its closure in the 1970s. Postcards featuring the GNR's hotels are collected as a subset of Irish railway memorabilia, with scarcer real-photo examples fetching the higher end of the range.
